What is a water sampling?

Water sampling is the process of taking a portion of water for analysis or testing, e.g. drinking water sampling to check that it complies with relevant water quality standards, or river water to check for pollutants, or bathing water to check that it is safe for bathing. Basically it is done for the purposes of identification, quality control, or regulatory assessment.

How to take a water sample?

We send our representative to collect the water sample in Ira’s sterilized containers from the site. You just need to schedule the pick-up, we deliver the analysis report at your doorstep.

How often you should do a water test?

We recommend having the water tested annually four times, as water quality changes overnight.

How long will it take to get the results?

Biological sample tests need 5 days of monitoring. Once that’s done, we deliver the report in 7-14 days based on # of parameters for testing.

How often do you need to test well water?

Private well water should be tested a minimum of once every quarter. Drinking water supplies obtained from shallow wells and surface water sources should be tested more frequently, as they are more susceptible to contamination. It is important to test your drinking water at the tap and at the source.
